dreams

i don't dream anymore. i don't mean a series of mental images and emotions occurring during sleep. it's more of an ambition: a cherished desire and imaginative thoughts indulged in while awake. dreaming is something i do a lot during my schooldays. that's how i came up with stories about my personal adventures or a vision of myself 10 years from that time. but now.. it is no longer the case. i am so busy with other stuff that i've become this rigid unimaginative un-creative person. it makes me dull and boring.

besides the time constraint, in a way i am more of a coward than i was back then. i used to think that anything was possible but now, i restrict myself so much that i'm not moving forward at all or even worse, backwards. the fear of being disappointed has taken over my life. thus, i ahve trained myself not to expect much from life and just settle for what i have.

it is no wonder that i don't know which path i'm heading most of the time. it's because i don't plan, i don't DREAM about it. how am i suppose to improve when i don't know what i want to achieve in life? this definitely something i have to work on.

Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your vision is the promise of what you shall one day be; your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil.

~ James Allen ~

You can dream it, you can do it.

~ Walt Disney ~

When you cease to dream you cease to live.

~ Malcolm S. Forbes ~

Ialways have to dream up there against the stars. If I don't dream I will make it, I won't even get close.

~ Henry J. Kaiser ~

To accomplish great things we must first dream, then visualize, then plan... believe... act!

~ Alfred A. Montapert ~

Big thinking precedes great achievement.

~ Wilfred Peterson ~
