the unexpected companion

the most amazing thing happened to me. i was so sad and worried about tonight's debate selection. i called my mum but she's at the shop and kinda busy i guess, says she'll call me tonight. oh well.. my tears welled up at that moment but i tried to hold them back. the laundry area of the dorm wasn't exactly deserted and i don't plan to allow any strangers to see me cry. so i started karaoke-ing. lol.

suddenly, this white cat came to me and started to bermanja-manja with me. it's as if it knew how lonely and sad i was and it decided to keep me company. it came onto my lap and just sat there. that was when i started crying while singing along to "Need You Now" followed by "Terrified". i must've looked really silly at that time, caressing the cat, singing and crying at the same time. lol. the funny thing was it actually looked right into my eyes as if saying

"it's ok, i'm here for you. you can cry all you want. i won't leave you"

OMG, do i sound delusional? but who cares! the cat totally made me feel better. God sent it to me cause He knew it could comfort me i guess. now, i really miss my cat back home.

of course, i'm still anxious about tonight. not to mention i have some other responsibilities that was entrusted to me regarding the Environmental Debate and the East Coast English Debate Committee. it's been awhile since i've done all this. back in school, i could do pretty much everything, you just have to name it. but as soon as i left MGS, my self confidence took a plunge down the cliff. i didn't think i could ever be entrusted with anything again after my horrible results. it was kinda stupid but like i said before, i'm emotionally fragile.

i don't know what will happen tonight. i hope i won't get chosen for the USM selection. seriously don't think i'm good enough for it. and that's not the only thing on my mind. i have exams just around the corner.
